Project Summary

Being in tune with and and being able to read one’s body can be invaluable in management of one’s health.  The Body Listening Project is a collaborative effort to create a public repository of people’s experiences of body listening and body awareness.  The repository will be used to develop patient education programs, knowledge resources on body listening, and a novel system featuring innovative visual interfaces for browsing and exploring content.  The Body Listening Project research team is comprised of faculty and students from the University of Washington, the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and University at Buffalo; as well as industry collaborators and independent researchers.
