Interests:
The intersection and combination of interventional and non-interventional clinical studies.
Background:
Mathematics training, biostatistical doctorate, and work in academic (statistics, biostatistics, biomedical informatics) and industry (pharmacometrics, diagnostics, drug safety, statistical methodology, clinical development).
Research:
I am interested in the intersection between data analysis (analytics) and information organization (informatics) and how they can enable each other through reflection. I look at this in the context of statistical data analysis environments for biomedical research (currently focusing on clinical studies, both interventional and non-interventional). Most of my experiments are done in Common Lisp or R.
