Interests:

Multiobjective optimization, utility measurements, probabilistic modeling of clinical outcomes in radiation oncology, and decision modeling in oncology.

Background:

B.A. in physics from Oberlin College; Ph.D. in atomic physics from University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Post-doctoral fellow in radiation biophysics, UC-Berkeley.  Staff scientist in the heavy charged particle clinical medicine program at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory.  On the UW faculty since 1991.
