Background:

Dr. Hulse is a preventive medicine and clinical informatics trained physician. He received his BS and MS from the University of Washington, Seattle; his MD and MPH from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, Maryland; and an MS from Georgetown University, Washington DC. After completing a Preventive Medicine residency at the Uniformed Services University of the Health sciences and a Clinical Informatics fellowship at Madigan Army Medical Center he served as the chief of trainee health with a focus on population health tools and clinical workflows. After two years he was selected to be the program director of the Clinical Informatics fellowship at Madigan Army Medical Center.
