Avery is a PhD student in Biomedical and Health Informatics at the University of Washington. She had a MBBS degree in medicine and got an MHS in Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Avery has experience in developing pipelines for analyzing high-dimensional data, conducting large-scale GWAS, and applying machine learning techniques to address biomedical challenges. Her current research focuses on leveraging large language models (LLMs) to analyze electronic health records, generating summaries of clinical notes, and using unstructured data for predictive modeling.
