Sharareh Koufigar

Sharareh received her BS in Physics from UCLA and her MS in Medical Physics from Columbia University. After completing her medical physics residency at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, she joined the Department of Radiation Oncology at UW/Fred Hutch Cancer Center, where she currently works as a board-certified medical physicist. She is pursuing her PhD in Biomedical and Health Informatics part-time, bringing a multidisciplinary background that bridges clinical practice and data science. Her research interests lie at the intersection of informatics and radiation oncology, with a focus on leveraging machine learning methods to improve quality and safety in cancer care.
