Innovative interventions, symptom science, lifespan health.

Background:

Dr. Thompson’s program of research has focused on both preventing and improving outcomes from traumatic brain injury, with a particular emphasis on older adults. She is examining ways in which technology can aid in injury prevention or assist in the recovery process should a traumatic injury occur. She co-leads the HEALTH-E research group https://nursing.uw.edu/article/technology-for-older-adults/ with Dr. George Demiris.
