The Biomedical and Health Informatics (BHI) coursework requirements for all non-degree seeking NIH National Library of Medicine (NLM) funded BHI postdoctoral trainees are listed below. These must be completed by the end of their two-year fellowship:

All requirements above are expected to be completed according to BHI’s
Satisfactory Progress Guidelines, including a
Quarterly Student Progress Report.
Individual Development Plan Tool
The Individual Development Plan (IDP) helps graduate students and postdoctoral fellows establish long-term goals and plan for their academic, personal, and professional development. This written tool provides a framework for tracking progress and communicating with professors, mentors, family, and friends about how they can best support these goals. Postdoctoral fellows are encouraged to review their IDP with their faculty adviser at least annually. The IDP also supports NIH guidelines encouraging institutions to document IDP use among all NIH-funded graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
