Alumni Overview


Our formal educational programs started in 1995 with the Teaching Scholars Program focused on training faculty educators in the health professions who have a passion for teaching and a desire to become academic leaders. We have had 297 graduates of this program as listed here.

Our formal informatics educational programs started with our research focused postdoctoral training program in 1997 and we have had 113 graduates since. Our research focused MS program was established in 2001 with 37 alumni for this program. Our research focused PhD program was established in 2003 and we have 52 graduates. Our Online Master of Science in Clinical Informatics & Patient Centered Technologies program (offered jointly with the School of Nursing) was established in 2004 and has more than 100 alumni.  The ACGME accredited clinical informatics fellowship (in partnership with Family Medicine and UW Medicine Information Technology Services) launched in July 2016, and our first fellows graduated in July 2018.
