Our formal educational programs started in 1995 with the Teaching Scholars Program focused on training faculty educators in the health professions who have a passion for teaching and a desire to become academic leaders. We have had 277 graduates of this program as listed here.
Our formal informatics educational programs started with our research focused postdoctoral training program in 1997 and we have had 113 graduates since. Our research focused MS program was established in 2001 with 31 alumni for this program. Our research focused PhD program was established in 2003 and we have 52 graduates. Our CIPCT fully online applied clinical informatics focused program (joint with the School of Nursing) was established in 2005 and has 111 alumni. Our most recent program, the ACGME accredited clinical informatics fellowship (in partnership with Family Medicine and UW Medicine Information Technology Services) launched in July 2016, and our first fellows will graduate July 2018.
