Research Master of Science (MS)
This Master’s program is an on-campus program that covers the breadth of the biomedical informatics foundations and applications.  We admit students to our MS program for Autumn quarter only. The deadline for completed applications is December 1, 2024.

Research Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
This PhD program is an on-campus program that covers the breadth of the biomedical informatics foundations and applications. We admit students to our PhD program for Autumn quarter only. The deadline for completed applications is December 1, 2024.

Research Post-doctoral Studies
This post-doctoral program is an on-campus program that covers the breadth of the biomedical informatics foundations and applications.  Those without PhDs are generally expected to complete the Research Master of Science.  We admit students to our Post-doctoral Program for Autumn quarter only. First consideration will be given to those who contact the program office by March 1st, 2024 to indicate their interest. We are still accepting applications as of January, 2024.

Clinical Informatics Fellowship 
This fellowship is an ACGME-accredited Clinical Informatics Fellowship run by us in partnership with UW Medicine Information Technology Services and the Department of Family Medicine.   This is a two-year on-campus program consisting of hands-on rotations in UW Medicine Information Technology Services and the didactic curriculum is based on the Online Master of Science in Clinical Informatics & Patient Centered Technologies program.

We admit students to our Clinical Informatics Fellowship for July 1. The deadline for completed applications is November 15. For information on applying to the program, please go here.

Teaching Scholars Program
The Teaching Scholars Program (TSP) at the University of Washington is a one-year professional development program for educators in the health professions who have a passion for teaching and a desire to become academic leaders.  For additional details and how to apply, please go here.

Online Master of Science in Clinical Informatics & Patient-Centered Technologies (CIPCT) Program
