Aparajita Saha
PhD StudentAparajita Saha is pursuing her PhD in Biomedical Informatics and Medical Education at the University of Washington. She holds an MD from Bangladesh and an MS in Genetic Epidemiology from the University of Washington. Drawing on her clinical expertise in managing chronic infectious diseases, her past research has investigated innate and adaptive immune dysregulation caused by TB-HIV coinfection in pregnant populations within endemic settings. Currently, she is affiliated with Institute for System Biology, where she utilizes high-dimensional analytical techniques on electronic health records data to uncover sequelae associated with rare immune-mediated inflammatory diseases. Her research interests focus on leveraging large language models to integrate multimodal datasets and identify severity metrics for autoimmune diseases.
